In late August, our youth group will venture to Washington, DC to spend three days in ministry and mission. They will stay at an urban retreat center called the Pilgrimage and serve in social justice ministries during the days, and then hear special speakers and have discussions in the evenings.
The youth have also agreed to host events with the goal of raising half of the funds needed to make the trip. May God bless our young saints as they venture out to offer compassion and learn about justice, and the rest of us as we support them. To make a contribution for the trip, contact Nona Holy or purchase a soft pretzel or baked goods which will be for sale on Sunday, August 17 during Fellowship Hour.
